Description
My (current) work-in-progress roster from my spriting efforts to cover Fire Emblem Awakening. This games has some extremely different looking designs, and a very anime-esque style, but I like it. I love (LOVE) the designs from Radiant Dawn, but different is sometimes good. Plus the game has captured my attention like no game has in years. So I guess that kind of speaks for itself.Related content

hello, can I animated them for my current Fire Emblem hacking project and after that share the animation to the community?

I don't mind as long as you credit me when you share them.

I was going with the kid's mother's hair color for the time being, since I wasn't sure if I wanted decide on fathers or not.

I know that but official art makes an exception for him to have Sumia's hair color instead of the pink. Same with Kjelle randomly getting black hair.

THESE ARE AMAZING!!!
I had intended to make my own Lucina sprite for a...a table top game.
Could I kindly ask for tips on how to recreate her look? I can honestly say this will be my first spriting project

It's tough to say. I learned a lot through trial and error, and by seeing what other, more experienced spriters did. My sprites are heavy on detail, maybe too heavy to be honest. I'd say the first challenge to set yourself is to see how simple you can make a sprite and still have it be recognizable. At that scale, you need to be implying a lot of things without explicitly showing them.
That probably didn't help much!
(P.S. The very first "spriting" project I ever did was for a tabletop Gundam Wing game. It never went anywhere, but it started me down my long journey of custom sprite creation.)

Meh, it's a start at least.
I'll be using the Eirik sprite sheet from sacred stones as a base.
The game in question is right here if you're interested.

They look amazing! Have you done FE10 Thief sprites? Also, are you planning on doing a full sprite sheet?

I've posted pretty much everything I have "done enough" for now. I haven't done full sprite sheets, this was always just an iconic image kind of project for me, and with the slow (and erratic) pace I work at sheets would pretty much guarantee that I'd never get anything done.
Currently I'm working on the dracoknights from Awakening, but since they have such a radically different body-plan from the wyverns/dragons of FE10 (or really any of the other FEs) it's taking me a while to get it down.

Sucks? Nonsense. I have to say, I never expected anyone to try to actually do anything with these. I've just always liked sprites for their iconic nature. Sometimes I forget that they were intended to be seen in motion.
