Description
This huntsman pestered me by hovering above my LCD monitor about a foot from my face on several occasions.He/she killed two large whitetails and a fellow huntsman (most likely after some baby-making).
I finally released it outside as it was getting hungry and there were no insects inside anymore as she'd/he'd eaten them all.

These sweetie don't bite unless you really bother them. White tails on the other hand will chase you. They have no fear.

Super awesome. Nowadays I get to deal with Black Window Spiders that sit in the corners of all my windows and are super scary but super shy

We have the black widows where I am, but they don't ever bother anyone. We even have smaller versions of these these en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solifugaβ¦Β though they don't survive captivity, once they're aware of a non-wild environment, they're very picky.

white tails are all over the place and their bites freakin suck. Bloody hurts and practically melts big chunks of ice very quick when it gets infected- which happens a lot

Wow, but still, that's pretty decent size. CUTE. It's the small spiders that get to me. They hide and I can never see them!

Technically, they are the deadliest spider via accidents. They like to hide in AC's/glove compartments in cars, getting scared when the car is in motion and coming out. This scares the crap out of the driver, who then crashes.
I'd love to see one of these in real life! Maybe not worth risking the other spiders that live in Australia, though. Still, good picture!

Really! I am more scared of the little ones these days- I used to be terrified of spiders full stop. I would have full blown panic attacks for all creepy crawlies

I would have crapped myself. Honestly, I am the worst when it comes to spiders. Or anything with loads of legs. I go into serious panic mode if one of the teeny-tiny ones come anywhere near me.
I'm all itchy now when I look at this
You're so brave!! ;____;
Though, after a few deep breaths, I sort of appreciate this in a really weird way but thank the lord we don't get big besties here
Still can't get over the size of that badboy. D:

She is a beauty.
Lately though we have been getting abnormally large White tails- those scare me as they bite and the bites get infected from all the bacteria on their fangs. ended up on a course of antibiotics and still have a smooth patch behind my left knee.

Lol, they seem to think they're hiding when they curl up like this. I have one as a pet, and occasionally enjoy watching her curl up as tiny as she can to hide in the shadows. The ones in Japan get crazy big, too.

from toe to toe about the size of my hand with my fingers stretched out. 15 cms across or so. She was pretty big, but huntsmen get even bigger around here. The just fold up very small

just making sure it looked pretty posed although I doubt a human could convince a pet tarantula to do that

It moved while I would sleep and it would be in all sorts of places in weird poses and it would stay for ages. This one pose was such a shock, I didn't get all arachnophobic...I went all photographer...which is much better
