i would love to see them give Cortana an actual body, i mean they can flash clone a brain, why cant they create a body that cortana could inhabit? (Take a page from the Cylons from Galactica here) im sure it can be done, cause honestly, aftyer all the crap the Master chief has been thru, he deserves to get some love from Cortana. They have been together for years, and in truth, Cortana is the only person who knows The Chief the best.

I have often wondered what the effects of the suppressed sexual drive of a Spartan was, I came up with: No interest, body can't function for it or they felt no pleasure from it.
But it's good to clear things up.

But, you are correct. Spartans didn't have their sex drives "removed", just suppressed to keep them focusing on battles and what not.

you make a very good point there Drac... It makes sence that the effect would eventually wear off.
And i doubt Dr. Halsey would of ever allowed her Spartans to be "neutered" as she woudl probobly find it to be extremly crewl and inhumane. So despite the augmentations and reduced sex drive side effect, the Spartans are still fully capable of reproduction.

Well, the freedom in fantasy is to be anyone you want to be, in any world you want to go to. It's those little freedoms from our real lives that our imaginations give us. I'm against those "OMG SORA IS MINE I'M GUNNA MARRY HIM" fan obsessions, the use of Spartan sex drives it to add a mature level to the love story in the fanfic that I write in my spare time, and the Halo RP me and a friend run for a few people. It's a hobby.
Explaining WHY a Spartan can have a relationship like that just frees up greater creativity.
