So... I can color other people's sketches...

Excellent work.
IMO, and this is just a theory I came up with (like how Lord Hood looks like Ron Perlman who voiced him, but Master Chief will most likely look like his voice actor, Steve Downes.)

This is a very acruate drawing of John that is dipicted in the books. other than not havin freckles, I would say its a good picture of whats under the helment of Spartan 117. Sandy brown hair, chip/gap between his two front teeth, freckles on his cheeks, and pale white skin, is what the books describe him as. im not sure about what kind of scares he has but he most certainly has them.

You know this is as close as we'll get to seeing what he actually looks like under that helmet of his. Which makes his bond with Cortana all the more interesting, because at times she seems more human than he does, all because we can see her face. One must wonder though which of them is more human at this point, John or Cortana?

I know alot of people are on the border with his hair color but in the Bungie Christmas Card they show the back of his head with brown hair. And in the book they make mention of him with blond as well a brown.
