The meme is annoying but my Swampert in Omega Ruby was the Pokemon I always relied on.

I once made the mistake of choosing Mudkip in PokΓ©mon Emerald, but instead if having a full team I just had a really OP Swampert, an underleveled Mightyena and four other random PokΓ©mon. Everyone told me I could win because Swampert was OP. By the time I got to the fifth gym I had given up because I couldn't win anything. A year later I got Alpha Sapphire and chose Torchic. I assumed my mistakes in Emerald were because I only had one strong PokΓ©mon, but in AS I only had four. One was a Pikachu (not very strong on its own), one was a Manectric that was really underleveled and even though I had a Gardevoir most of the work was still Blaziken. And I won.Β

Mudkip is, without a doubt, one of the most overrated type of PokΓ©mon a fan can ever love. Seriously, why the hell would people approve of it, even the dA admins? And why the hell would bratty fantards (yes, I'm talking about the Mudkip fans) defend it and take the sight of Mudkip hate too seriously? They're not even real! >_<
