Requested byHe wanted me to do my interpretation of a scene from one of his pictures: [link] and so I did. It's not exactly like his was but...yeah.
They're supposed to be practicing their underwater breathing but... they ain't doin' so well. Babs' still trying to hold her breath, Fifi's breathing outta some straws and Shirley's just cheating using her "psychic powers" to keep herself breathing...somehow. <.< And Bugs is there to coach 'em, however he doesn't seem to be enjoying it.
Sorry for the crap quality... was trying something new with this one. Tried to actually ink an image without the use of Illustrator or Flash, and did all but the color in OC... I need waaay more practice on that x.x

I knew J.B. Warner from Toonzone before seeing this pic, so I was amused by the resemblance to his artwork. I always prodded him for having some sort of 'drowning fetish', and I like seeing your interpretation of that. J.B. tells me you drew this picture on his request, which makes me wonder if you'll accept one from me...?

Actually, due to underwater physics, in real life Fifi wouldn't be able to breathe through that straw that deep down due to the water pressure

I can see a difference in the inking, but I don't think it's bad - it adds a nice hand-drawn touch to the piece, if anything.
