We have Baron Fortesque and his experiments with time, space and early computers to thank for the great advances in computing that we enjoy today. Who would have thought even a few years ago that an engine capable of calculating Bernoulli numbers could fit on one's wrist? Many would have been satisfied there but this device also incorporates a system that, once appropriate satellites are invented and launched into orbit, will allow communication with other such devices at ranges of up to a dozen feet!
How is all this possible? The secret is both closely guarded and liable to rip holes in the fabric of the universe!
Of course powering this wonderful machine requires an inbuilt steam mechanism which does cause it to heat to temperatures more usually employed to boil water but as we like to say, a red, blistered forearm is the sign of a man on the cutting edge of technology.
