Description
These patterns are free to use.Creature's eyes and claws are blastic (leave finger- and toetips open while sewing, if you want to use plastic claws)
I recommend using soft and a little stretchy fabric to this plushie.

how did you put the toes together?
๐: 0 โฉ: 1
IsisMasshiro In reply to Sashiryuu [2011-10-19 23:08:38 +0000 UTC]
I sewed the toes separately and then sewed them on the feet. The middle toe is part of the feet itself.

I need to get myself an idea of that. we're going to sew two plushies actually, my friend does a gryphon and I do the dragon... We're still fighting with those toes xD but thanks, maybe I just need to see it in picture or so..
Btw, I saw your brando plushie yesterday, did you already prepare another gryphon plushie yet?

IsisMasshiro In reply to Sashiryuu [2011-10-20 16:36:22 +0000 UTC]
Not the easy one for the plushies, I say. Especially gryphon would be little hard. oo
Not yet, sadly.

True thing. but we're getting the idea. she will make just two skinny wing-arms and stick feathers on them.. but I really think that everything else but the toes will be rather easy, since the plushies body size will be fitting a normal A4 paper sheet, which is kinda big, I think. well, we're thinking about making them bigger, especially my dragon, because he's extremely detailed.. I just don't know what type of fabrics to use
Well, I'll just stay tuned for your further plushie works

Wouldn't it be kinda hard to stick feathers onto the plushie's arms? oo
That is good solution, it is true that the bigger plushie would be, the easier would be add the details.
Thanks. ^^

that's the idea.. we just don't know what else to do to make the wings look alright.
uh, now that I see my dragon patterns.. I guess it really needs to be bigger than A4. omg I need to be careful while sewing that or else everything will look messed up 0o
do you want to se the gryphon pattern we have so far? it isn't finished yet. and I can show you a picture of the dragon, too if you want

WHOA that dragon...It sure looks hard to make into a plush. Oo
Wings...there is one simple way. Just make first the wings, stuff them a little and then sew the feathers on it with the sewing machine...little like I did with this one: [link]

Yeap. There must be 8 toes, 2 for each leg. The middletoe is a part of leg itsef.

Is it alright if I modify this pattern slightly to make a plushie of my character, Zsheon? [link] [link]
I will give you full credit for the pattern designs and everything. I'm just going to not sew together legs and add a strip of furry fabric down the back. But, if you don't want to, I won't. I just figured I'd ask, even though I assume by posting this you're allowing others to use it.

I'm currently making a small version of your Mosasaur one out of denim and broadcloth. I'll have to send you a link to pictures once I finish. But, I'll get to work making a version of the Snakey plushie after I finish this. Thanks for posting the patterns!!

ShadowRebirth37 In reply to IsisMasshiro [2011-07-15 22:10:20 +0000 UTC]
It didn't turn out so well. Then again, I tried to make a six inch long one, instead of a large one. Stitching such small things is world's more difficult that large things.

True and the problem is that patterns is designed to big plushies.

ShadowRebirth37 In reply to IsisMasshiro [2011-07-16 18:27:58 +0000 UTC]
Yeah, found that out with the mosasaurus plush. I just finished the one of Zsheon last night; he's nearly three feet long. I used some stretchy fabric, but it didn't cut right so he sort of cobbled together strangely. But, I'll be uploading them both soon; don't worry I'll link back to the original patterns and credit you.

No the Mosa was only eight inches long, the modified Snakey is almost three feet. I'll post them both shortly.

Hey, I'm trying to make your snakey plushie and I understand most of the patterns except the mouth thing on him. whats that for?
and I'm trying to make it look like a cobra what do you suggest I do for the feral or mane or what ever they call that thing on a cobra's neck, so it can stand up with out lots of stuffing/ card board or wires but so its still a Little floppy.
Thanks
๐: 0 โฉ: 1
IsisMasshiro In reply to theherooflegend [2011-05-19 17:39:31 +0000 UTC]
It is just a forehead/snout piece.
Cobra eh? That would be a little hard one...especially because Iรคm not good in explainin stuff into english.
๐: 0 โฉ: 1
theherooflegend In reply to IsisMasshiro [2011-05-19 18:52:27 +0000 UTC]
Oh I know what that piece is, what I mean is when you look at the outline of the sides of the body in the head area it looks like theres a smile on it. I know this probably makes no sense, but if you dont understand what I mean its OK
Also I found a way to make the feral stand up.

Smile? XD And irl, this plushie isn't smiling at all...it looks more like annoyied.

Hello, my girlfriend and me are trying our hand on your 'Snakey-plushie", and we are wondering what the "8X" stands for in your pattern?
๐: 0 โฉ: 1
IsisMasshiro In reply to RomulusCaesar [2011-04-16 13:42:51 +0000 UTC]
"eight times". So you have to cut 8 toe-parts.
