Erstmal schon allein von der fotografischen Seite einfach grandios gemacht. Film bleibt einfach besonders bezaubernd Und für gewisse Stimmungen und um eine gewisse Atmosphäre zu erschaffen, ist es ebenfalls einzigartig.
Du wirkst wie eine kleine Puppe, weil die Beine so "absaufen". Nur dein Kopf schaut hervor. Wieder Mal, schon allein für sich genommen, ohne Titel, ohne Text, ein sehr gefühls- und gedankenanregendes Bild. Mit einem Kokon verbinde ich etwas Wohliges und gut Beschütztes. Am liebsten würde man dort wohl nie wieder raus, so scheint es mir auch hier - und dennoch ist er nur dafür da, eine Schutzhülle darzustellen, während eine Transformation stattfindet ... Hier, wie gesagt, habe ich eher den Eindruck, dass du für immer dort verweilen möchtest. Ich wäre da zumindest auf jeden Fall der Typ für und könnte das gut verstehen
Und dann habe ich mal wieder versucht, Bild und Text in Einklang zu bringen, bzw überhaupt den Text für sich zu verstehen - wie immer bleiben für mich dort ein paar Rätsel ungelöst, dennoch sprechen mich einige Passagen sehr an und ich finde den Text sehr interessant, hab auch das Video geklickt (iwie erinnert mich das Instrumental und die Gesangsmelodie an ein anderes Lied, aber komme gerade nicht drauf) - schwermütig, wehmütig, reumütig ... Und irgendwie hab ich das Gefühl, da kriecht tatsächlich jemand in einen Kokon, nachdem er aber eigentlich schon irgendwie lange "draußen" war .... vllt so eine Art "Rückentwicklung", bzw umgekehrte Form von einem Kokon, eher fast schon im Sinne eines wohligen "Sargs", in den er sich zurückzieht, weil er so sehr bereut und nicht mehr weiter kann. Das ist natürlich nur eine sehr vage Interpretation, da steck offensichtlich viel mehr drin und auch ganz anderes drin ..... und diese Box bereitet mir Kopfzerbrechen

I mentioned to deer-o once, that photos of people sometimes look like landscapes to me. This definitely looks like a landscape.

Nice thoughts. I've also paintings of landscapes which looks like people (for exmaple mountain looks like a grim face and stuff like that).

Aus einem meiner Lieblingsalben. Das Songwriting hat mich immer sehr an minimalistischen Post Punk, Marke '78, erinnert.

Hmmm, mit Punk habe mich zwar nie so intensiv auseinandergesetzt (,zumindest musikalisch nicht), aber ich denke du wirst da wohl recht haben.
Mir gefällt Forgotten Woods sehr, auch wenn ich nicht alles dauerhaft oder total gern höre, muss mich dann wohl bei den Schultern gepackt haben (was es oft machte).

"Post Punk" wird viele nicht an "Punk" erinnern. In den späten 70ern und frühen 80ern waren "Punk" und "Wave" noch Synonyme für "diese neue" Musik. Und vielleicht erinnert mich auch nur das Schlagzeug einiger Bands an Forgotten Woods.
Muss sagen, dass ich sie auch schon länger nicht mehr gehört habe. Aber ich verbinde schöne Erinnerungen damit. In den letzten Jahren habe ich sie immer gehört, wenn ich an einem Meer gesessen bin.

Hmm, verstehe! Oder auch nicht.. Wer blickt denn noch bei dem ganzen Genreaufgedrösel durch. :3 Punk ist für mich sowas wie Crass und nicht Green Day 
Klingt doch schön, also dass man Musik mit bestimmten Szenarien verbindet...
Gemeint war damit eigentlich, dass ich manchmal soeine Art "Geistesblitz" bekomme und dann muss ich eine bestimmte Band, die ich eigentlich schon tot hörte, wieder hören.

Genres sind für mich nur soweit von Interesse, dass man, spricht man darüber, sich einen Unterschied von Mozart zu AC/DC vorstellen kann. :> Wo wir bei 'Crass" sind, da hör' ich momentan alles Mögliche, was auf deren Label erschienen ist, durch. Da wird mir erst wieder so richtig bewusst, was diese Großlabels mit diversen Vorgaben einem, ich sag's wieder, 'Genre' alles antun können. ;> Aber zum Glück gibt's immer wieder Leute, die machen, was sie für richtig halten und dabei auch noch richtig gut sind.
Jetzt wird mir das "Schulterpacken" klar. Ja, so geht's mir auch manchmal. (:

Of course I've seen your picture and I was feeling reminded.
I've also done a still life ~two years ago, with a cocoon in the middle of a bowl, the shades of the bowl (in the bowl) were looking like wings.
But you shouldn't hate yours, it's much harder to take it from above.
