cant get enough of this little girl, though i must say, she looks very sickly with this greenish grey skin tone, this could be a lovely portrait if she didnt look so near death. try a soft bw with some clipped blacks...

but seriously i hope this girl grows up knowing how gorgeous she is cuz even at this age you can see it, and it would be a certain pity if she had a horrible self esteem and couldnt see it.
how did you take this shot did you have a shoot where you get her to pose or was it spontaneous or what? the expression looks so perfectly 'model' like, it's amazing.
And you know, given what you said you wanted out of the picture, I have done something foolish and tried it myself. People have yelled at me before so if you think I've violated, please yell at me, but I did a couple of tries.

You did a great job on this - especially the blue one - I really love it. How did you do it if you don't mind me asking. I'm going to have another go now at re-processing mine.
As for getting the shot - I just took shots of her while she was doing stuff so this was totally spontaneous. It's amazing how different people can look in the different shots you can take.

so when you say especially the blue one do you mean the black and white blue tinted one, or the coloured one with the blue tint?

I like the coloured one with the blue tint the best. That would be amazing if you didn't mind sending the ps document - just to figure out how you did it. My photoshop skills are not that great, I'm still struggling along with it and appreciate any help.
