Description
Soooooo......?? I spent several days coloring this after school, and just now finished it.I also took forever on it beforehand because I've had so much to do for school, and it's freaking annoying. -_-
But yeah, have some new characters. x3
They do not have names yet (although, I'm thinking about naming the lava girl Maggie, maybe...), and I would greatly appreciate tips or critiques on my shading and what not, because although it looks neat (I think), I don't feel like it's very accurate. I did attempt to give them the right types of textures, but... this is the first time I've really tried to do sort of semi-realistic shading.
I might update this later with some little bios and what not.

woah *q*
Elements are intense, yo. The shading must've taken you forever oh my god. The water one is particularly impressive, but they all look wonderful! I'd have to say that my favorite is the Fire/Lava one (and not just because I'm a bit of a pyromaniac XD) I love the design and the stripes (?) really work towards the benefit of the character. The ice one looks nice as well. Very sharp XD The background is really impressive as well UvU
Keep up the great work!

Thank you! x3 This piece did take quite awhile, especially since I had school to deal with. x'D
The funny thing is the water girl was actually very simple to get that effect. I just decided I didn't need to blur after erasing in SAI.
The lava one was my first time attempting to shade obsidian haha. Those stripes are sort of holes on her arm where her blood (lava) peaks through. :3c I'm glad you like them.
Thanks again! <3

I love how you've painted the translucency, and love the designs for all these characters. The background is enough to give a sense of atmosphere, but minimal enough to accent the characters' colors and designs.

This looks really good! Great job!
for some tips... The lava girl seems a little too bright on the parts where the light is hitting them (unless in her colour scheme those are white, in which case disregard this) If you're going for a sort of lava rock look to her, you may want to make her a bit more towards the matte side, and the orange glow from the lava near her as well as her eyes and the lines of it in her body should be shining on her as well (I can see you did it in places but I feel like it's a bit too subtle)
I think this piece look great all in all.
