Idk, I always thought a buck was the younger version, a stag is more established? Maybe they are the same haha

The term buck is usually used to refer to smaller male deer like the white-tail, black-tail, mule, roe, and sitka. The term stag is usually used for larger male deer like the red deer and reindeer. Depending on demographics, people will refer to all male deer as either stag or buck, but both terms are correct. So, even though I do like your comic much, Schizoid3 is right; using both terms in one sentence doesn't make sense.
