Wow...  I don't recall ever even hearing about The Last Guardian, but-... Man! This deviation has practically enchanted me!  
You have used a neat colour palette that fits the piece nicely, and the sense of both size and distance is remarkable. 
Also, I'm really pleased to see how you have used the golden ratio in positioning both of the two characters. 
And most of all, the blue-feathered dragonesque creature with the head of a some sort of a sheep or a goat (Trico, I believe ) looks fantastic. 
It's a beautiful piece of art. And it's totally 'd!

Okay, this is amazing.  Let me just put that out there before I say anything else!  I love it to death, Jesus Christ!  The background looks awesome, there's so much detail in the rocks and face of the closest tower!  There's so much depth, it's incredible.  You somehow managed to draw every feather on Trico's body, even if there was a lot of copying and pasting going on, that's still impressive. 
To start on the critique.. the boy seems a little out of place, it looks like his hand was meant to look like it was resting on the metal object to his right, although he's a little too large for the area he's in, you could fix this by either making him smaller, or moving him closer to the "camera"!  Moving on to Trico, the ear on our right looks a little thin compared to the other.  His left eye is a little too small, and overall his eyes are just a little too close together.  His color scheme is a bit different from the game, there's less color and diversity than I remember from when I played.  Although, going from experience, his color scheme is quite difficult to replicate .  One last thing, Trico's right foreleg is too thin compared to the other legs, but that's an easy fix!

All in all, this is a great piece!  You definitely have your background and coloring down, I can't exaggerate enough how awesome this is!  The little problems you had to fix were just things that will come with time and practice.  Keep drawing!  Have an amazing day <3

I'm not at all familiar with the game, so I can't really comment on the likeness of anything in comparison. But I certainly agree, the atmospheric vibe is here is wonderful and adds so much to this piece.  There is a lot of coloring on the creature it looks great! Really stands out from the background and draws attention! Yet, I feel like more could have done for the platform it's standing on. I understand the want to have the closest platform work with the rest of the background, but with as much as it is in the foreground, maybe a slight texture to refine it? 

The human, I must be honest, feels as if you could've been running out of steam on when you reached him (i understand this completely). The coloring style doesn't match with much of the background or the creature. I'm sure if a little more time on the child would have made him one with the piece. To add a fair amount of shading to bring out that dynamic lighting would be beneficial!

Aside from the coloring, I find that the human was very well executed and has a great placement.
I'm envious of the rocky wall behind the creature. It looks wonderfully rugged! I would say the soft coloring on that was a great  idea with the amount of detail in front of it!  Ultimately, this is a great piece and I'd like to see more from you popping up in ProjectComment!

Yo! Im from ProjectComment And im here to critisize your work ^^ 
First off- Im in love with the atmosphere and effort you put into the background! It feels so magical! Almost JUST like the game!
However, the boy could have more shading and trico could have less lighting on his fur. Also the lines look a teensy bit crooked ^^" other than that, what a piece! Have a nice dayy
