"VΓ₯rvelkomst"/"Spring Salutation"My salutation to this year's spring, a little overdue. Or maybe a salutation for the spring we are waiting for. It comes with new growth, fertility, colours, light, and is surely something I am looking forward to.

This thoroughly deserves its DD. I love the idea of obviously fertile women blooming from trees that are themselves budding with new blossom, and of course, no spring is complete without some sort of bunny so, all in all, this is about as detailed and accurate an encapsulation of spring as one can get, and a beautifully made one at that.

Wonderfully intricate and detailed in the foreground while the subtlety of the light-genitalia in the background is equally brilliant, coming across as earth and pagan, not at all crude as it might have been if attempted by other hands than yours. A beautifully crafted image.
