Description
Guess That Obscure Sailor Moon Character: A KiSS GameEDIT (again): To view this, you need a KiSS Doll viewer that supports FKiSS 3 and FKiSS 4, such as Direct KiSS. You can download Direct KiSS here: [link]
This can also be viewed using Ultra KiSS: [link] which can be used online if you have Java.
To view the game, simply open the .lzh file in the KiSS Doll viewer. DO NOT extract the files.
Think you know all there is to know about Sailor Moon? See if you can guess the identities of these ten mystery characters from the Sailor Moon manga, anime and live action show!.
If only they would allow the title to be one letter longer ... I've been working on this project off and on for about seven months. It feels really weird to be finishing a project so big. I usually end up abandoning them. >.>()
I'm not sure how difficult it is for the average Sailor Moon fan to guess these, but if you've read the manga, seen the anime and Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon the character should be pretty obvious after the third hint. I guess you'd have to be a pretty big fan to guess them all ...

How did I make it? Er well, I used a lot of FKiSS 3 and FKiSS 4, variables and cell groups. I don't know how much about KiSS coding you know, but it's kind of complicated. ^^() You can note me if you'd like me to try and explain it in detail.

I was totally considering adding the Sera Myu only animamates, but I didn't know enough about them to make three clues. Also, I think having Myu only characters would make the game even more difficult and I don't think it really needs to be any harder. >.>
When I finished the game, I started thinking about making a second part, (Well, the same game with ten different characters) but I'll wait and see. There are other projects I'd like to try first.
(Plus, I can't add the characters you've mentioned here because you will have given them away before I even start!

That's pretty awesome! I managed to get all of them, and I love the "prize" at the end. Some of them I had to go to the third hint; that first hint can be pretty difficult just because there are several options.
You did a good job! My only suggestion is to up the contrast between the background and the list of character choices. That muted pink on greyish blue was a little bit difficult to read; I had to angle my laptop screen very specifically to be able to do it with ease. :-D

Yeah, I kind of expected all three clues to be needed. (Especially on character #8

No prob! The contrast between text and background is one of those things I tend to notice a lot.
And obscure characters is what I know as far as any form of anime trivia is concerned. I stuck a Tellu picture for the anime eyes contest (pictures start out blurry and then become clearer) at our Halloween party, and I thought Tellu was EASIER to guess than some other ideas I had.

Will this only work in the first version of DirectKiSS and UltraKiss? I'm using DirectKiSS version 1.1 and the set is unplayable when I load it.

Ah, I'm sorry! I just downloaded DirectKiss 1.1 and tried it out. The set didn't load for me at first either, so I followed the suggestion that was underneath the download link at Otaku World:
"The only solution I (and Dov) can suggest is to go to the Options dialog box under the Tools menu, select the Video tab and then select the option Force Palette Emulation next time Direct KiSS starts up."
After that, I restarted DirectKiss and the set worked fine.

Ah the interface of the preview looks absolutely amazing I shall give it a go ;D. I doubt highly that I will get the other ones since I have not watched much of the Live Action or read much of the manga. Oh no I'm doomed to fail

Hmm I tried it out in play kiss and it didn't quite work so well. maybe it has to do with my computer being incredibly slow and old. I didn't get past the song thing that popped up. Play KiSS doesn't support FKiSS 4. It seems only Direct KiSS and Ultra Kiss do. I didn't realize that until after I had posted the KiSS set. I've since edited the artists comments regarding this. Sorry, I probably should have figured that out before. >_<()

Ah that is okay I figured it had to do with something like that alright I got Direct Kiss and it seems to be working haha although I'm still stumped
