Naomi Reference Sheet

Name: Amber Riley/Tricha

Age: 14

Height: 5’3”

Background: One day, when Amber was eleven years old, she was with her mother at the mall when she was approached by a man who said he was a talent scout. Upon calling the telephone number on the card the man gave her, Amber discovered that he was not, in fact, asking her to become a model or an actor but a member of a somewhat secret agency that trains magical girls.
Her parents are very supportive of her chosen occupation, but as they are not allowed specific details on what she actually does, they seem to think that her job is similar to that of a pageant girl. Amber often fights alongside her best friend and fellow magical girl, Naomi, whom she met through the agency.

Personality: Amber’s heart is in the right place, but she’s got a lot to learn. Like many teenagers, she has trouble putting others before herself. She tends to speak before she thinks and likes to act as though she knows what is happening, even when she has no idea what is going on. She does not like being looked down on, and takes the fact that she is one of the youngest competitors in this competition as a source of pride.

Transformation: She can transform instantaneously and at will. When she transforms, the only actual change in her appearance is her eyes, but, like many other magical girls, her transformation magic renders her unrecognizable to those who know her. She is not comfortable being in her civilian form around anyone she doesn’t know, i.e. anyone else in this competition. Charmed hair accessories allow her hair to appear short even when she has grown it very long for battle.

Powers/Attacks: Tricha’s power is prehensile hair. Her fighting style is strictly physical as her powers only allow her to grow and control her hair. She can use her hair in a number of ways, and can use it to pierce, smash or strangle her opponent. The hair she fights with must be grown before she goes into battle as it takes much concentration for her to do so.

EDIT 4/17/13: Headless Mode
Tricha cannot control any hair that has been cut from her head unless she is in her "headless" mode. In that mode, she can control any section of her hair that she is aware of, even if it is not attached to her. The trade-off is that she cannot move her body when her head is detached, leaving it vulnerable. She has not told anyone about her "headless" mode besides Naomi and her trainers and is in constant fear that people will find out about it and her public image will be ruined.
