You capture Crawford so beautifully and uniquely in this picture! I love how your hands came out, it really captures Michael's essence of his Phantom!

After my mom and I saw the play, I had to sit in my seat for 3 minutes to calm down and wipe my tears before asking the man if they had the soundtrack from the play that I had seen. He said "No, but we do have the original" ...and then there was light.

That's a great story
I thought the movie soundtrack was good, then I heard the original cast soundtrack and it blew me away.

I cried after seeing the play too

Oh god.. I'm still sobbing in the car while were in the parking lot. Saying "He just loves her so much! Waaaa!" and my mom is just "I know honey, I know"

AHHHH So sad... My friends were all laughing and making fun of me because I was crying. Not that I cared, of course; it's such a beautiful show!!!

i'm going to have to argue with your point... i believe Ramin Karimloo is the best Phantom. Have you heard, "'Til I hear you sing" by him? If not, search it.

I've seen that- I still haven't decided what I think of Love Never Dies .... :/
He definitely has an amazing voice- I enjoy listening to all of the different phantoms out there, but Michael Crawford is just my personal preference

I grew up listening to Michael Crawford, my little 8-year-old heart wanting to see him perform in the Opera. Mom said I wasn't old enough to appreciate it, so I never did before he retired T-T

Yeah, the night my mom and I saw the movie, I was devastated when I heard the Phantom's voice for the first time. Mom was disappointed, but was annoyed at my ranting XD

aw... yeah, i wish he still perfomed.
haha, my mom S the movie. she says it's the cheesiest thing she's ever seen. I'm not sure about that, but it definetly isn't the BEST i've seen....

It's well done, especially taking in the fact they're turning a MASTERPIECE of an Opera into a film, I mean, I loved everything 'cept the Phantom, really. And according to my Mom, the back story they showed is one of, what, 3 back stories to the phantom's past? So yeah, not too sure about that bit.

Yes, it really was beautifully made... I don't remember which story they used....was that the "being held in a cage by gypsies and living the rest of his life in the cellars"? if so, i don't personally like that one

Yeah, the older woman telling the story when Erik was a lil' boy being kept by gypsies/circus peoples (that's what I think they were Oo; ) and being laughed at and treated poorly. The woman, at the time a young girl, freed Erik and they escaped to the opera house.
At least that's the best I can remember ^_^;
