Suggesting a piece of artwork as a Daily Deviation is actually quite simple and one of the great things about it is anyone can make a suggestion! During the recent DD Suggestion Drive I noticed many people saying they knew very little about the process even though they have been deviants for years. So I thought of putting a helpful tutorial together. I made this using my chibi Chubby Charmander as a guide to bring you through each step and used my Squirtle as a sample deviation.You can find an up-to-date list of CVs here:Community Relations Team or in their journal .

LOVE THIS! Thank you for creating such a great tutorial. I found it fun to read through and it held my attention the entire time. The graphics, text.. everything is clear and easy to follow from finding a work you think is DD material all the way until you're notified that a suggestion was accepted.
Absolutely something I would link to others as a guide. And your little bit "I don't have any DDs at the moment so it's not a problem" ... no longer applies!

Sorry you can't read it. Like the others said typically when you hover the cursor over the small thumb image you see a "+" magnifying glass click on the image until the magnifying glass contains a "-" That means you can't zoom in any further. If that doesn't work then I'm not sure what's going wrong

did you click on the deviation itself? That usually enlarges it such that it is readable and not pixelated. I usually have problems when I zoom in using my browser's zoom

I'm not familiar with the journal you mention; I didn't use anyone else's tutorials/journals as a guide when making mine. If you're saying there are similarities between ours then that's probably unavoidable seeing as the process of suggesting DDs is the same no matter who describes it; it's the way we present that information that differs. I basically followed the DA guidelines plus included a few things I learned along the way through trial and error with the help of Talty and LiliWrites .
I wanted mine to be an image tutorial composed of screen-shots; I wanted it to be quick and easy to follow without having too much information; and I wanted it to be friendly in appearance with maybe with a little humour added for good measure!

Any tuts made about how to do things on DA will include similar information, because it is often the same process.
