Like I said in my journal I have to come up with a story to make a comic for uni (I still have no clue of what story i'm going to tell ) and the only thing the teacher said was that the main character had to be an animal or a mythological creature or aNYTHING NOT HUMAN lmao anyway here i am trying things mixing animals with humans...I kind of... like it...

you can either do it traditional, digital, using photography... you're actually free of doing it however you want it haha I just happen to be more comfortable with traditional drawing (although i always do the coloring digitally)

Well, I can see you've already given the character a name. If you haven't already, you can give her a back story, or layout her dwelling (try not to make it sound to much like the Little Mermaid). You can also make the story about the difference between a manta ray anthro and a mermaid, maybe set in a war between the two races and how she's involved. Oh yeah! She can be like a messenger or something. Idk just some ideas that might help you.
