Featured on Equestria Daily: Drawfriend Stuff #1507 - www.equestriadaily.com/2015/04… !I loved the idea of a potion cutie mark but it looks like a vase with an apple on it...
I've been thinking about incorporating the latest Applebloom cutie Mark into Twilight's Reign.
I can't choose so I decided to pass it over to my watchers, comment below and tell me your opinion on which Applebloom you want to see. Which version do you prefer?

Well, in my headcanon, Applebloom is like a pony MacGuyver. Gifted in repairing most all Farm machinery out there with anything she can get her hooves on.

I like the idea of an alchemist Apple Bloom. She's got the red (her mane) and the potion cutie mark (white), and I don't know where the black would be other than her pupils. According to the FMA wiki, red, black and white are considered significant in alchemy.
Not sure if her alchemy would extend to powers like those in FMA. Probably not. Would be funny if she could 'accidentally' send Diamond Tiara flying with a stalagmite from below though.

I have to admit, I don't know what "Twilight's Reign" is, but, Alchemist Applebloom is my vote. That would be incredibly cool and epic.

I really like both, but I think You should do the Alchemist Cutie mark. There are way to many AppleBlooms with Construction cutiemarks!

Both of 'em are looking nice, I like the alchemist one's tail, reminds me of AJ's mane!
If I were to choose...well, why not both? A mix of an engineer and alchemist? That way she could have both attires, and have more talents~ Plus it's similar, an engineer creates devices and fixes things (ie repairing), an alchemist creates potions and also fixes things (ie antidotes).
But if it's only one, I'd choose the alchemist, I like her appearance more, even though my headcanon is the engineer xP

Basically, low-level "mundane" magical item creation is the idea as I imagine it, yeah. A couple of examples I came up with while rolling the idea around in my head the other night at work were a cider bottle that keeps itself cold, and a self-propelling plow that you just walk behind and steer like a lawnmower.

*nod* Yeah, as I pointed out, artificers are equal parts engineer/alchemist. Given how "earth pony magic" works, it's not such a farfetched idea.

I actually kind of liked the idea of Pest Pony applebloom.
But above all my favorite theory for Appleblooms cutiemark is for Zap apple makin'. Her cutie mark should be a zap apple flower.

Since lots of bronies have portrayed Apple Bloom spending time with Zecora learning how to make potions, maybe that potion making cutie mark would be more suitable for her.

Pity she can't have both cutie marks, one on each flank. She had multiple of them when she had cutie pox after all, oh well.
If I had to choise, I would go with potion making. It would let her study more under Zecora or Twilight's eye.

I like Applebloom as a worker pony, the reason is because I think she has the potential to become a strong leader, working along side other's, Applebloom about friendship and team work, being a potion master pony doesn't sit well with me and feels more like something Twilight put upon her, but I could be wrong, also your design for worker Applebloom looks a lot more visually appealing ^_^

You are right in that she has shown an interest with regards to potion making, but I guess I'm concerned with how that will fit with her personality in the long run. She comes from a family built on teamwork, which would compliment a worker pony position, while the potion making would isolate her job wise, even if she worked under Zecora and/or Twilight for a while, eventually she would be on her own. I also feel it would be nicer for her to have a greater sense of independence, moving around to do different construction jobs as opposed to being in a static position in a cottage mixing potions. But again, this is just my own reasoning, and I'm sure either way could be written very well.

I love both of them, and personally, I'd probably go for the potion one --- however!
I think that the construction one would suit her better, seeing as how it might put her in more scenarios around the farm, or Ponyville in general. You know, building barns or repairing fences, houses, that sort of stuff.

I like the construction applebloom, but I feel like having her as a potions maker would be better. I like to think that AB is a pretty intelligent character and should be good at something that requires a little extra thinking power.
