Before A.K. Yearling and Rockhoof started courting each other, they were both huge fans of the other's stories. Rockhoof absolutely LIVED for the tales of Daring Do (thanks to Rainbow Dash) and A.K., just like many others, knew the Myths of the Pillars by heart. Being from two completely different times, their ideas of dating were quite different. But with both of them of a mature age, neither one of them seemed to have a problem with courting traditionally, being the thing Rockhoof was more comfortable with.

Their dates were filled with adventures and stealing old relics from nefarious villains, which both greatly enjoyed. A year or so passed before the two decided to get married and had a small, traditionally Norse wedding with a very small select group of ponies. And barely a few months after they had been wed, A.K. started to feel many symptoms of pregnancy. Both A.K and Rockhoof were absolutely stunned. They had believed that the two were both past the point of being able to have a child of their own, but the tiny chance they had was enough. Rockhoof constantly followed his wife around during her pregnancy, always concerned for her health as she carried their child. And when their foal was born, the doctor had no choice but to deliver the baby via C-Section. Rockhoof was terrified that he would lose A.K., but both she and their son pulled through. They both decided that no matter what, one child was enough for them. And even though A.K. Yearling is back to normal, her husband can't help but constantly make sure she's feeling okay or if she needs anything to make her day better.
