I like these. Any interest in adding one to a coloring book that I'm putting together? I"d like to market a variety of artists' work

I really love this one! Great color and texture all around! What did you use to color it with?

Thank you!
Sorry for the delay, haven't been around for much lately.
Anyways I used watercolor pencil crayons to color it, then used a blending pen to mix the colors.

That's alright, I've been busy myself.
I've been getting more and more into watercolor pencil, but I haven't found good paper to go with it yet. Any tips? I really have no clue when it comes to watercolor paper or anything

I was just using my standard sketch pad. The blending pen moistens the paper just enough to smudge the water color pencils, so there really wasn't a need for heavier paper. I think if you were going to use brush and water to blend the colors, water color paper would probably be advisable. What type of paper to use....I'm not really sure, I am also in the dark. I've just been experimenting a little. Try checking the net...Sorry I couldn't be more help

Ah yes, I haven't realy used blending pens before....not exactly sure what they do in terms of having used them before But yeah, I do tend to blend wih a brush and water...perhaps this is my problem?

I like it a lot. The background does more for the piece than if it was merely white, and the coloring does a good job of illustrating the intricacies.

Messing around is good. It works best in areas where you've created both value and color contrasts. Keep exploring
