I used staedler pens, sizes varying from 0.1 to 0.5
I find they work the best especially for the finer detail!

for sure, havent done much had a project in school to do a locust shell with them i think its in my gallery thought i was going to go insane too much nitty gritty for me

Your work has to be one of the most detailed ones I have ever came across. The ciruclar forms are collaborating well with each other. A sense of collectivity is probably what you were trying to portray here.
