Description I should have tried to put some color into this but I have come to the conclusion that I am afraid to color. I think this is mainly due to the fact that I am not sure how its going to turn out and I would hate to destroy something with a bad coloring job. I know I could use the computer to put some color in it, but when I try, it generally turns out looking like crap.... Now with all that said, I do have an idea on how to get around this and hopefully I will get a chance to try it out in the next day or two...

Well if you think your going to destroy it with color there are three things to do.
1.Color digitally so it looks clean or traditional.
2.Make a print of it on heavy weight paper and use whatever you usually do to color it.
Light table and re-draw it and paint that version.

Coloring is a adversion worth every penny fighting.
I had trials and tribulations with this as well.

Thanks for the suggestions!
I think I have found the solution....I have been putting the color down first and drawing around it. Still trying to work a few things out with it but so far it is working (kind of).

Storybook simplicity. I'm quit charmed by it.

I like the curves and circles in this one but I admire how you used a large yet thin shape to make the picture most of all .

you can color it in photoshop or some other program that will give you an idea of how you want to go forward or as tulips suggested copy it. Either way dont be affraid of color ( hmm that must sound strange coming from me eh? ) either way i love the layout and think it would make an awesome relief, say in cut and stacked copper ... mmm or a book cover in layered copper and silver leaf

Thanks, I tried using photoshop....It just didn't look right to me. Printing it is a great idea, just have to buy some more ink first.

I really like the formation of this one.
Have you tried printing it out to color it? That way if you do 'destroy' it, it was just a copy.
Keep up the geat work.
