I stayed up all night having some fun sketching this out. I'm 50/50 on this piece, I have mixed feelings on the colors, and I really hope it's not hard on the eye... Let me know if it is! I think that they are a little too vibrant for my own taste.. But it's so late right now, if anything I'll make more adjustments tomorrow.Just Elzatros again. I have this obsession with drawing him and coloring him. I can't help it xD But this will be the 2nd to last thing I upload of him for a while (I have one more being whipped up), just to give my other ideas a chance to fill my gallery now that I'm back into Photoshop. I've been very inspired lately too so hopefully more stuff soon.
I might add some more details tomorrow!
Critiques are welcome and any other suggestions as well.

A beautiful picture, I agree with everyone else, the colors are spot on. I can see why they may seem overly vibrant to you but they are pastel enough that they don't hurt the eyes. The image is overall very nice. Keep it up.

Very cool! I like the colors and the design on the feathers is really neat! The character has a certain kind of flow motion within it that makes it very appealing. well done

He is so vivid! I love it. What a pretty OC, not to mention badass.
Anyways, I do think more could be done with it. What's the actual size of the piece?
Seems too small from the original for some reason.
I think you could add more highlights and shadows, to add more surface and depth.
Other than that, great start!!
