Akane's a sneaky lil' prankster with a streak of chuunibyou in her, meaning she tries to act a little too cool to say the least. Full of mainly useless implants, she loves to tease the others around her, especially her boyfriend, Eriko. Thanks to her mom, she is often forced to act much cuter than she wants, and this includes working as a maid at the Smiling Schoolgirl Cafe.

As mentioned before, Eriko's her boyfriend, or rather boytoy, as he receives so much teasing from her. Think of her relationship with him as similar to the one in "Please Stop Teasing Me, Nagatoro!". She also has her mom, Lili who loves her to bits a bit too much, and acts like a helicopter parent, always caring for her, despite Akane being 20 years old.

She loves to play pranks on the others, much to some of their ire's (Especially Momoko). She's a bit of a show-off too, whenever it be a new bit of clothing, a new gadget, or something she got for Eriko. She hates hanging around her mom, as it'd be very humiliating and against her "cool" act if she was spotted by one of her workmates or Eriko while dressed up in something like a pink dress, with pink dyed hair.
