Currently owned by the private institution known as AXIS Military Academy, which mission is protect Tredius from demon-related threats (actually, an initiative by Ulhaden Corp & ABEL Inc, two major weapon industries that have created the Alpha-Omega series armors. The AXIS is more likely an academy for young bounty hunters who're unknowingly testing a likely inhuman technology, and doing the firty job for the UN to "cleanse" everything dangerous that escapes its hidden slave pits).

Douglas Ryder, born in November 10th 1989 on Toronto, Canada, where he has begun his military education. He has applied for the AXIS Military Academy at the age of 15, in 2004, the same year he defeated other students, veterans included, to earn the rights to own the Omicron armor. Among those defeated were his colleagues Daniel Fawkes and Marvin Chad, from US. Since then, he's earned authorization from Ephraim Frére, the AXIS Director, to use this armor on missions alongside other more experienced members, while he's been approached by AXIS researcher Dr. Howard Fang, from England, who's become his mentor and a father-like figure to him. Fang has worked for Ulhaden Corp, one of the main sponsors of AXIS (and credited with developing some of the Alpha-Omega armors, despite this fact is not revealed to most students and is not completely true. The students, as well their parents and most civilians see Ulhaden & ABEL more as sponsors of AXIS and AXIS as an international military college based on Avignon rather than a school for bounty hunters) since 1993, when the Ni armor was under development. Omicron has been created in 1996, and it was one of Fang's most prized creations, so it was natural he would approach Ryder. Fang has also been praised worldwide for his achievements as a scientist during the late eighties, thanks to his researches on telekinesis, that were far more advanced than other concurrents, and with support of his own business he's managed to fund his researches, what has attracted the attention of several corporations, including Ulhaden, that has hired him later. He has, however, been accused by Joseph Bridges, the owner of ABEL Inc to sponsor and support the rebellions of Chichihuacuauhco against the US-sponsored military dictatorships of Chile and Argentina, and also against the English military which were occuppying its territory, that was being negotiated with Argentina, culminating in the conflicts known as the Chichihuacuauhco Wars. The wars resulted in the separation of Chichihuacuauhco, but ultimately its territory became an ayllu (a concept similar to federation) of Collasuyu, one of the four great regions of the Socialist State of Tahuantinsuyu, the most proeminent member of the UTSST and a threat to the UN sovereignty according to the anti-communist sectors ruling America, such as Bridges, who's an important weapon industrialist. Despite not all of the Chichihuacuauhco rebels accepted support from UTSST, the rebellion has been succesfully coopted and those who stood against it were killed, even after fighting for the UTSST's expansion, while faithful it was for their own independence - An Empire can have many faces, even a populist one. Actually, to keep power, that's how they'll likely be pictured. The accusations were that Fang has sold part of his research to the UTSST, either to Tahuantinsuyu or its European member, Palarokhiel, so they were using his technology on war, supporting the rebels of Chichihuacuauhco, while the UN has used agents and armors from ABEL (Alpha , Gamma, Epsilon and Zeta). Beta, an armor stolen from the Yamato government by outlaw vigilante Kenshiro Shimada, has fallen to the hands of UTSST military and was used against UN forces. These accusations were based on sights and research from Bridges' own agents, however their evidence proved insufficient to charge Fang, and Bridges was labeled a provocator who feared the loss of ABEL's hegemony, afraid of competition, technological innovations and private initiatives other than his own, a measure which has greatly diminished his political influence, reminding him of his father. Fang, however, had some strict ties with figures from Tahuantinsuyu's technological development council, which aside from declaring it associated to the ruling Socialist Party of Tahuantinsuyu, under the government of the publicly elected leader Tupaq Amaru III , and put in charge of the supervision of most of its State economical relations, is founded upon and inspired by the concept of industrial development and polytechnicalism, concepts which Fang also shares as his ideals, and that would later become Ryder's own ideals. The identity of the members of Tahuantinsuyu's technological development council are kept in secret even from its people, despite the popular leader Tupaq Amaru III claim they are from the working people of Tahuantinsuyu in truth most of them aren't even human. Spectro , head of the Spectro Organization, has approached Fang following his sponsorship of the UTSST forces on the Chichihuacuauhco War, and was surprised to see a human got that far in the telekinesis research based on Darr manipulation (unaware Fang has his own sources of alien tech), considering to invite Fang to become a technological counselor for Tahuantinsuyu as well, granting him diplomatical immunity, an offer Fang has disconsidered at first, but has accepted later, in 2006, when he left AXIS. From Fang's years in the AXIS, he has showed to Ryder the kind of reproval which he felt from Joseph Bridges, and exposed him that the ABEL & Ulhaden, more than "college's sponsors", were actually the developers of the Alpha-Omega armors, and were only put under a collaborative initiative after the last conflicts between UN and UTSST escalated, in 2000, when Tupaq Amaru III led a military occupation on Arizona, which was the last place he's been spotted (other than the disappeared island of Bermeja, of course). Fang's concerns have influenced Ryder to question what else the academy's management kept hidden, as well its reasons, even though it changed nothing in his performance as a bounty hunters - only changed his motivation. After Fang left, for reasons which would later be revealed as his acceptance of Spectro's offer - one that wasn't boasted by media from either UN or UTSST, actually happening in secret but known to Ryder - he's still contacted by his pupil, who secretly leaks AXIS info for UTSST. Ryder is known by other students as an early prodigy and for his success in battles, however other than that he's also hot headed and because of that is often avoided.
