Speed Racer. I was watching an episode of Family Guy and in one scene they blatenly poke fun at Speed Racer. I was laughing so hard I was in tears! It inspired me to pay homage to the fastest racecar driver because: (1) Speed Racer was most likely the first cartoon I watched done in the style of anime, and I became a big fan of anime ever since, (2) The Speed Racer theme song is one of the best theme songs out there, and (3) The Giaco commercial starring Speed and the gang is pretty hilarious. Need I say more?Done with colored pencils and outlined in ink.
