Once upon a time, there was a being, one that shouldn't have existed, but manifested itself regardless. The elder of elders, it's power far eclipsed that of the gods, and it saw fit to devour them and all of the universe itself. Many gods fell before they decided their options were limited. The gods gave up most of their power to create seven mortals with extraordinary power. These seven guardians would grow to surpass the gods that created them, so that they may defeat Chaos and take care of the universe that survived the aftermath. One fateful day, as yet another world was falling to Chaos, its cold unblinking eye gave attention, to the Seven beings that had risen to challenge it...
