This is the figure known as The Masked One, the enlightened mantid who opened her third eye on her own. The feat impressed Chie so much that she decided to bestow a great gift upon her, as well as a vision of what she must do to save her people from famine. With this gift and vision, she was able to lead her people to the land that would be called Gateway. Now, she is the religious leader of the city and its de facto figurehead.
