I loved how all the areas of the map were connected.. like how you could jump into that river and be swept to lake hylia.. such a beautifully composed game

Oh i remember where that's from It's when you jump from the broken bridge in the entrance of Gerudo valley and you end up in lake hylia...
That frustrated me once because I was running and I forgot that the bridge was broken and I fell woke up in lake hylia and then had to run the whole way back...

I remember that jump all to well
If you jump right as the music begins (when night turns to day), the main chorus will start right as you hit the water. Not the most important thing, but still fun!

...I thought he was flying like peter pan or a DBZ character, well, "The hitchhicker's guide to the galaxy" actually says that flying is falling and missing the ground ...
The glowing/fog gives it a pretty nice touch by the way.
