Overall Disposition:
Over the years, Calypso has grown to be a free-spirited cat living in the now rather in the past. After a lifetime spent in captivity, she's eager to finally enjoy her freedom on her own will. She doesn't seem to care about anyone's opinion of her, and carries herself with a smile on her face all the time. She's a rather relaxed and laid-back feline who acts up on her duties when needed – but once she jumps to action, Calypso is a force to be reckoned with. Do not underestimate this former bounty hunter: If she wanted to, she's perfectly capable of clawing someone's face off. But why should she when she could just lay in the sun all day instead?

Calypso is no stranger to loss, which is why she keeps those important to her close. She's not afraid of showing her affection in the least – in fact, she can be a very clingy feline from time to time. She shows her fondness through both actions and words, and can be rather protective of her loved ones. But while she's such a warm-hearted soul, she's also very straight-forward. She's painfully honest about things, and will voice her opinion head on, even if it might not be what the other feline would like to hear. In a way, Calypso is a realist – but really, she just looks out for others, and hopes to bring an end to their unlikely goals before they get disappointed later.

This tough feline has a sense of determination to her that is rather admirable. Once she's set her mind to do something, she'll pull through with it no matter what it takes. She won't let others pull her down, and thus surrounds herself with cats whom she trusts wholeheartedly. Misusing her trust will never end up well..

STORY

Backstory:
Born in the legacy of the elite hunter Ventus, Calypso quickly learnt what it meant to keep the honor of the family. She and her siblings worked hard to earn the respect of their relatives, along with the rest of the hunters. The start was rough, but Calypso was never one to let a challenge hinder her from achieving her ambitions. Even when her family was torn apart after her brother's untimely death and her mother being sold off to a new owner, Calypso remained focus on her goal: To become a hunter.

Unfortunately, things quickly took another toll: After a raid on Stone Empire in which her father, Callis, and then-girlfriend Lux were included, Lux didn't return home to her. After hearing the news, Calypso wasn't able to emotionally return to her job, despite her recent promotion to a bounty hunter. Not that much later, Calypso's owner packed his bags and moved her to Rome, along with Ventus, and Calypso's brother, Zarian.

As much as she hoped she could start out fresh in Rome, Calypso couldn't stop her mind from racing about what ifs. She missed being able to freely roam around without the restriction of a house. Rome was too busy of a city for her to be able to wander around on her own, let alone with one of her relatives. By the time her owner sold her off to a legionnaire in Gaul and thus distancing her from what she had left of her family entirely, Calypso took the chance to escape the caravan bringing her to her new home, and took off in hopes of finding her way back to Massilia.

But Calypso would never find her way back. Drained and exhausted, she eventually wandered upon strange lands not far away from her former home, where she was found by a tiger and brought into rogue territory.
