Quinn likes to take the lead and doesn't like following rules. He's quite a trouble maker and usually one of the loudest cubs, so just a real pain in the butt when having to look after him. He will try to sneak out of the nursery to "join" patrols or something like that. Just don't play hide and seek with him... you won't find him again.

Quinn likes to flatter his empire mates, usually just to gain something or stay up a little longer. So you never know if he really means it or not, though he sometimes actually does. But only if you're a good friend. Especially girls are an easy target for him and so he quickly becomes a ladies' man uwu

Ambitious: "Eww no, that could ruin my good looks."
A rather quirky personality of his, his rather selfish side. He doesn't really mean it, yet will try to put his needs in front of anything else. This will obviously change in the future, since he just joined the empire and starts out as a cub. He's just not used to sharing due to his previous home in the cages.

[ Life in the cages ]
Growing up in the cages isn't much fun. It's rough, tough and barely no food. Quinn's mother was a rather good, yet young coliseum fighter who got paired up in a breeding project with a fellow ocelot. There weren't any strings attached to the two, so after it being over, she just returned to her life in the cages. One day, about a week after the project, the managers of the coliseum fights moved her cage next to the one of a nearly white cheetah. Hera had a thing for the male who went by the name Aeolus. The two quickly became good friends, though Hera saw more than just a friend in him.

Soon the day came when Hera gave birth to her three sons. Unfortunately, one of them was stillborn and Hera realized that she doesn't carry enough milk for her two surviving cubs. But she still had Aeolus, who watched over them like a big brother, though Hera saw him more as a father figure to them than a brother. Sadly there wasn't enough milk for them both - and so, Notos passed away.

[ Escape ]
After Notos' death, Hera wasn't the same anymore. She got so depressed that she forgot to take care of Quinn and herself, so her owner took her in a few days before she eventually died. Aeolus took the remaining cub under his wing and took care of the young ocelot, hiding him from the battle managers and hunters. He and Hera have been planning to escape with some other captured felines from the empires, but he knew he had to get Quinn out of here as soon as possible. One night, after telling Quinn all he had to know, he helped him get out. Quinn climbed on one of the waggons that would lead outside the city, to a nearby outpost named Portia. Thanks to Hermes, a local messenger that would often come visit the captured cats and was about to leave for the outpost soon, Quinn got out safely and smuggled out of Massilia on the messenger waggon, without anyone noticing the cub.

The next morning, Quinn stepped on ice empire territory. The ocelot was lucky enough to find some apprentices training nearby and they took him back to their camp. Zireena was kind enough to let him join her empire, knowing he was still a cub with a lot to learn. And so, Quinn's story had a real beginning.

The hall where the cages were in was cold and humid. None of the captured cats ever really talked and if one of them did, nearly everyone here could hear it. When there was someone new, they tried to escape and would be loud. But that changes after like two or three days. Then everything's quiet again. They got less and then more again every single day. Most of the captive cats lost their lives to the coliseum fights or got killed by the hunters. And a few of the very best get hand selected by the humans and a few elites to become hunters as well. But that was still a far away chance to most of the felines here.

One of these captive felines was Aeolus. He got captured during the war between the empire cats and bounty hunters, meaning he played an important role the first few days he was here. Now nearly everyone forgot about him. Sometimes he wondered if his empire mates would still remember, or if they already forgot about him. He had a few friends, but most of them seemed to be scared of him. One of the tribunes that passed by once asked him if he was a ghost. That's what he feels like sometimes, yes. A ghost. Hidden and overshadowed by most of the captives. Some hunters sometimes ask him where he comes from. Wait, you're an empire cat? I don't even know you was the answer he got most of the time.

By the time you spend in this hell, you start to fade into the shadows and feel and act like one. You become brutal and aggressive, yet try to hide it and try to stay calm. The cougar who's held in the cage next to him is the air empire apprentice named Octavian. He was usually kind to the others, but hid such a big amount of sadness. Only Aeolus could hear him cry at night, because he was so close to him.

Today, Octavian got dragged into the coliseum once again. Three hunters came to get him. Aeolus could only recognize one of them. Pallas, the one who caught him in the war. The one who's responsible for Aeolus being here. Aeolus couldn't sort the other two hunters to any familiar faces he knew. One of them was a lion and the other one who followed him was a slender, dark feline. He nearly oversaw her due to her black pelt. "Kenya, you come with me to overwatch the fight. Siren, guard duty. Make sure none of these scums tries to break out." Aeolus growled, which caught Pallas attention. He gave him a hateful look and turned back to the black feline that he addressed as Siren moments before: "Especially this kid over there." Pallas growled and pointed at the nearly white cheetah.
