asked for a guide on the chest area (females in particular) and arms.This tutorial doesn't get too deep into how to draws arms but more how to connect them to the chest.

Hourglass... that hit the spot, that's a new way of thinking it ehehe.
I never really thought of that, what I pretty much printed on my mind is that, the females body is composed of two trapezoids facing each other and for males which is a triangle upside down.
BTW, the ball join method, does that mean you have to rely on how it fits the character your creating? or does it have a default ball joint size for each body part?
Aside from my question, I really like this tutorial.

In that first pose, since the figure is nude, the breasts should lift and separate.....unless you were going for a saggy look.

she should really have those black star shaped nipples looked at by a doctor, black indicates necrosis, star shape indicates some sort of starfish venom or something. also, her lack of head and legs is probably medically significant.
