Equipment: Nikon D5200 + Nikon 10-24mm + Tiffen Circular Polarizer.
Processing: Photomatix Pro 4.2 and Photoshop CS6 from 3 x RAW.

It feels kinda odd looking at this photograph; it's so deep that it almost feels as thought that sky is over the top of me. This landscape has such a strong 'presence', it must be an amazing sight in real life.

I've never actually been, but recognised it from an old calendar.
Been to Moraine, Maligne and Lake Louise, but Peyto is definitely on my list whenever I make it back to the Rockies.

It's a 10 minute walk from the parking lot. Keep going up past the official view point, and keep right. The unofficial trails will take you to a place of equal beauty and 100 times less people (no exaggeration).Β

Sounds like an idyllic setting. Avoiding the large crowds is always difficult, so thanks for the tip!Β It will probably be next summer before I make it back, but will definitely be taking note of that, and hopefully do all four lakes this time. Cheers.
