Sometimes (if not always), the answers to our questions are obvious, but it's hard to listen to them. Perhaps we fall in love with the wrong person (knowingly) or choose the more practical career (and sacrifice our dreams) or give up who we are (and choke our passion for life).

However, like a cat that climbs up a tall tree--if we seek perspective and the solitude to pay attention to our own truth, our choices become clear.

This Original Finger Painting of Here Kitty is the ninth in my unique series of Asian and Buddhist inspired felines. A special quality of this piece is that it is the first to be completely in acrylic, and also to incorporate through collage my mother's beautiful and authentic calligraphy practice papers.

A humble size with bold, gorgeous colors influenced by Japanese printmakers such as Hokusai, this 12" x 16" work of art is ready to hang without a frame, a meditation on the the answers staring you in the face.
