Female nude. Preliminary drawing for a painting I'm working on.I've been asked about whether the girls hips are a bit large, but she was nicely endowed in that area, and part of the problem is the strange twist she is doing here. Her breasts are down against the blanket, while her hips are twisted to face us so I could capture that beautiful curve that runs from the shoulder to the thigh.

The painting (abstract similar to the other 2 in my gallery) is almost done. Literally another 2 hours and it'll be finished. Very intense color and line.

Beautiful work. I particularly love the contrast of light and shadow. Are you going to psot the painting when it's done? I'd be interested to see it.

Yes, and I almost had it done last night (I work 2 jobs, and Wednesday is one of my evenings off from the 2nd job-so it was painting time!
It's an abstract painting similar to the 2 in my gallery (though those are pastels).
