Description
I already posted a couple of pictures of my 1:8 Werewolf statue here. But - some days ago I finally finished mould-making and got my first test casting. So, here it is, first resin copy of my Werewolf!I used small black stones in base as a filler - base is 425 grams, 300 grams of it are stones. That's why the base looks like it looks.
I'll try to paint it as soon as I find time, so it's probably not the last image of this sculpt here...
Thanks for looking!

Actually, the inspiration for this Werewolf came from Mike Mignola's sketch for Disney's "Atlantis" animated series. The hands were there...

No, it's Cernit, German-made polymer clay. I bet "Sculpey people" will hate it's properties... Although "opaque white" Cernit is very different for just "white". Much better.

I LOVE IT!!! I hope to make werewolf sculptures like that! Although I would give them a longer tail X3 I still like it though

That werewolf is just so cute. His face expression kind of makes him look playful. I love your attention to details on the muscles and that fur! I am so jealous how did you do the fur? Did you use tools or just place clay bit by bit on him? I'm making a werewolf now so that's why I'm curious to know

I'm sorry that I'm so slow in answering... Fur - it's mostly just toolmarks on flat clay base, only on scruff I added small clay pieces separately for bristled fur. I bake my stuff many times, so sometimes I baked, let's say, hand and then added layer of clay for fur.

SO nice!!! Will you be selling base castings of these by any chance? OR...If not, would you be willing to do custom paint jobs? I LOVE this fellow so very very much. ^^

Thanks!
I'm thinking about sellings some castings of it... But first I want to get my own painted copy. Also I need to figure out some things about this "making and selling a garage kit" system... I hate recasters and I don't want one day to see copies of my Werewolf, I haven't made, on Ebay... But I like the idea of people having some of my sculpts and I'd like to see different painted versions, as I'm sure I'll try not more than 2-3. So, I need to think about it.
By the way, do you have suggestions how to paint it?

*smiles* Well I hope you think of me when you get the details hammered out for selling castings. As for paint-jobs, are you thinking of going with a classic werewolf/wolf coloration, or possibly something more exotic, or perhaps a handsome black furred fellow (my vote ^^ )?
