Description
This, for those not in the know, is arguably one of the best duos in wrestling history. Road Warrior Hawk (May he rest in peace) and Road Warrior Animal, the LEgion of Doom. I'm a wrestling fan and have been for years, and after watching the L.O.D. DVD I was inspired to do a picture based on them.It's pretty basic, and I just copied ANimal's head when I finished him, flipped it, and remodeled it for Hawk, and it was also based off some Wolverine picture I found online that looked pretty cool, but I just thought it would be nice to make a little tribute, of sorts, to the team.
PS: The phrase "What a Rush" is sort of a catch phrase for Hawk, and is also the opening to their entrance theme.

This is pretty good. Awesome even. I just wish Hawk was still here to be with Animal, maybe he would have stopped Snitsky from joining the LOD and taking Hawks place. Or if not Snitsky, that other crazy skin-head looking guy with hair.

There is currently an art contest featuring members of the Legion of Doom underway at a website I go to quite often. The deadline is April 5, 2006 and I would really like you to consider putting this picture into the contest!
(The legion of Doom was like the Secret Society of Villains in the ‘70’s in case you didn’t know.)

Not so sure thise would qualify, since it's teh wrestling team "Legion of Doom/Road Warriors", not the Super Villians. And after following the link, the first picture posted there features the wrestling group beaten up by the SUper Villians. Something tells me, they're not looking for this LOD.

No doubt there, they were among the greatest tag teams ever. The only other teams I even think can come close to them would be Hart Foundation or Unholy Alliance. This is SO faved!

lol, thanks. I can't help but agree with you on the Hart's being ranked up there with the Road Warriors Hawk and Animal. The funny thing is, I'm tempted to say the Hardy's should be high on that list too (Granted, they haven't been around long enough), but just look at how tag team wrestling has gone down hill since they split. (Same with E&C)

Well, atleast Tag Team wrestling is starting to pull itself together again. Big Vis & Val Venis, MnM, Dick Brothers, Lance Cade & Rupert Murdock and Kane & Big Show.

Yeah, Hawk (The left) thought that it would look cool if he had an inverted mohawk, and ANimal had a normal one, so it looked like the bashed their heads together, lol.

Yeah, though I was always more of a Hart Foundation man myself, the LOD were always cool and had a truly unique look. I wish they're appearance on RAW a few years ago lead to a full time run before they retired... Maybe Hawk would still be around today.

I was also very big into Hart Foundation.. it just wasn't the same when Bret Hart went out on his own. And yes, LOD were always cool.
