Made with JWildfire. I started with the Rays random generator and tweaked it a lot, adding a yin_yang transform for the little galaxy-like dots, and a final loq+loonie3 transform for the droplet effect. This one took... a lot of tinkering. The GPU render was completely unintelligible (I think it is a GPU implementation issue with loq), and the interactive render was displaying a fantastic preview, but on save would add this horrible ugly bloom filter. I ended up using the CPU "render" button in the top right of the main interface which did not apply this hideous bloom filter, although the quality is not as sharp as I would have liked. After that, loq made this really ugly corner right at the seam where the droplet is going out into the black part, which I manually filled in with a brush.

It does look like a spiral-less galaxy, although any galaxy actually resembling this would likely get its own classification. In any case, I like the shape a lot, and if it wasn't so hard to get the formula and render right, I might use this technique in future.
