I love how much this isn't my problem. Good ol' Mac! I have never crashed this thing, even when working on 76mb PhotoShop files with nothing but virtual memory and half a prayer.

Pirating Windows is silly. If you like the GUI, just get Linux. Duh.

This is, indeed, THE song for the blue screen. Man. Life is complete now, seriously. I'll never look at the blue screen again the same way.

My theory is that Bill Gates has hidden some subliminal message in this screen that keeps the world buying Microsoft.

IvoryDrive In reply to SykoTheGreatest [2005-11-28 02:20:42 +0000 UTC]

I must be picking up the wrong subliminal message then, because I've been doing nothing but pirating it repeatedly

SykoTheGreatest In reply to IvoryDrive [2005-11-29 00:22:39 +0000 UTC]

But at least you didn't pirate one of his competitors.

Actually you were in a bunkbed whilst I was singing Bon Jovi's "Living on a prayer" at the top of my voice to you. Naturally this was because I'd just performed Tina Turner's "Goldeneye" in front of a large crowd of Russians, to get myself off the hook for being caught painting over Harry Potter's face on a bus stop advertisment.

very interesting. I guess one difference between us our realism in our dreams. I suppose mine are more boring, but they make sense, more like a movie I suppose.

for example the other night I dreamt me and a bunch of people were out in this field setting up camp with assault rifles to fend off all these vampires. if you got bit, you became a vampire and we were one of the last settlements of humans alive. no one thought the vampires had any emotion, but they spoke english and while on a walk outside of camp one day, I was aprouched by an attractive female vampire and we fell in love. every day I'd sneak off into the woods and meet her but one day, for some reason, I brought her back to camp and one of the marines there was like "Look out! VAMPIRE!" and he shot her to death.

I guess I've never had those completely random ass dreams, they've always had some continuity.

Meanwhile, I was having a dream about me and my Grandma in a Tesco trolley in a giant pinball machine.

man... I was thinking. every since I played warioware, I've wanted to make a flash game where it throws a random short flash game at you and you have no time to figure it out.

then you submitted your pop bubbles thing, and ever since then I've wanted to do it. the only problem is it'd have to be multiplayer for it to be fun, but you see, I'm building these arcade machines which can easily fit 4 players onto one console and I was thinking... we should do it.

if we could get you an arcade machine, then you and your friendly's could play it as well. anyway... just a thought. because I'm planning on making some short 4 player flash games to play on this bad boy, why not make a bunch of them and make a game out of it?

FargalEX In reply to IvoryDrive [2005-11-28 22:20:45 +0000 UTC]

We gave up on that flash project, in all honesty I think it was far too ambitious. How on egg are you going about making an arcade machine?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

IvoryDrive In reply to FargalEX [2005-11-28 23:28:22 +0000 UTC]

get get an old arcade machine, gut it and put a computer in it. you hook it up to a tv or a big monitor and put it in place of the arcade screen, then for the controls you head on over to [link] and get yourself an ipac card. this lets you wire real arcade buttons into the card, and the card plugs directly into your keyboard port on your computer. so then when all is said and done, you can open up notepad and hit the arcade buttons and letters will come out.
