I finally bought the movie version sdtk of Phantom. Gerald Butler's singing voice is just......yummy.

And hooray for Gerard Butler's voice! Though I especially like the combo of modern and classic musics... if you know what I mean... and kinda hate the difference Gerard Butler makes in some bits from the rest... he doesn't quite sound like the musical genius he's supposed to be, though then again, I suppose it fits the split in his personality, too

He was the only cast member that's not trained to be a singer. I like the edginess of his voice. It's so raw and He's the ONLY reason why I would want to like the movie version and even his sexy ability to melt women's underwear could not save it. Joel Shoemaucher raped....er....directed that. Yes I know Andrew Lloyd Webber had a say in everything but it was so awkward. It looked pretty, Gerald made the Phantom sexier, and Raoul is still a douchebag. Why was Christine made 16? That just makes the Phantom a pedobear!
