Nice idea for a piece, you don't see many try to make icebergs in Vue but its definitely doable. I think what would be the most important thing would be the use of translucency in the material (also called "Sub Surface Scattering) With that enabled you can give that great effect icebergs have where light seems to filter through it instead of stopping as soon as it hits the surface which is what it looks like here.
For translucency to actually work the object needs to be very small (maybe no bigger than a typical Vue-tree) but by changing the scale of the materials in everything else you can still keep it all in-proportion and make it look "big" still anyway, it would be worth it if you pull off the translucent ice look with the right settings (usually the light colour and multiple scattering colour could be white or aqua) some test renders would show you we're your going as you play around with SSS anyway. Using that does increase render times by a fair bit, but if you get it right the effect can look way cooler and more true to a real iceberg, you will especially notice it in the shadowed side e.deviantart.net/emoticons/n/n⦠" width="15" height="15" alt="

Thank you so much for your critique and your advice about Sub Surface Scattering material. I really had no idea about this. This is a cool trick! I will try to remake this.
