Description
This is just a little tutorial I put together on hair, well mostly it applies to fur. If I get some time I will add to it and fur out a little critter step by step. Hope it helps some people. The brushes I used for this can be found on the Linda Tso site and they are compatable with Photoshop 7 and up.This is the same technique I used to paint the dandelion on the Fragile Things painting in my gallery. Thanks and enjoy, if you use this to paint something furry, please drop me a message I always love to see what people create.

Hey, I do not know nothing about hair painting, so what is it "block in color"? and how do I mix the colors like the second image?

Blocking in color is basically putting a base color down. It can be what ever color you want to make the hair. Also there are instructions for brush settings, opacity etc written on the tutorial. Those explain a bit on how to mix the colors, don't set the brush at 100% opacity , it needs to be somewhat transparent, so some of the base color shows through. When you play around a bit with it you will find what settings work best for you.
