Facts from Reuters, click [link] for article. In Lebanon:
About 1,000 Lebanese have been killed, most of them civilians, with many more feared trapped under the rubble.

That whole event was absolutely shameful in my opinion. The deliberate attack on the UN outpost & the use of cluster weapons in the last days of it also left a sour taste.

Totally agree with you my friend. I have to maintain hope though that this is simply a phase in humanity, and that the future we will learn better responsibility and love for our fellow man. One can but dream I suppose.

I'm sure it will, everything rebuilds in time, and I guess my hope is that this type of war won't exist sometime in mankind's future. What ever happened to the days of soldiers lining up in an empty field and killing other soldiers, why to innocent people need to be involved... why do we need war anyways, what did this one accomplish?!?!?

Thanks, unfortunately I can't take credit for the photo, only the composition of facts and art. I agree taht it is a terrible thing, not just in Isreal-Lebanon, but every where in the world, Africa, South America, Asia, and even the social injustices that go unnoticed in Europe and Asia. Someday hopefully people will realise that we are stonger together than apart.

I am looking at this as a completely impartial person, however the facts seem to have swayed me to support Lebanon. In the modern world, some wars are justified and others are not. I personally don't believe that the response in this case was comparable to the justification. Two soldiers were taken and now thousands of lives have been lost. Does this make sense?
