It finally snowed here!
To celebrate, I wanted to draw a snowy picture. My longtime pal and one of my co-authors of WarriorsRewritten , tori-oislove , has become obsessed with Longtail recently, so here's Longpaw's first winter experience with a grumpy, cold Darkstripe trudging behind.
Experimented with a colouring style I will likely repeat in the future... ^^

In your re-writing of the warriors, can you show Frostfur actually concerned about her two daughters being almost run over and being attacked by a dog? The only time she actually is worried for her kits is when they get kidnapped by shadowclan. She never seemed depressed that her life kinda sucked and apparently she lived until the last hope.

This is AWESOME. I don't think I'm exaggerating if I say this is your best piece as of yet I mean WOW. Longpaw looks so adorable and his fur looks perfect and the shading is perfect and don't get me started on the forest and the lighting it's beyond wonderful. The light source is so delightful and the subtle highlights of the cats just finish off the picture. <3

This reminds me of Bramblestar's first snow...the mysteries of the floating white stuff. But I wonder where Bluestar's head was when she gave Longtail to Darkstripe...but at least he turned out better (I just wish he got a chance of love...him and Mousefur are quite cute).

Heh, now that you mention it. ^^ Hopefully Bluestar's decision will seem more reasonable in our rewrite; we've already sorted out multiple things regarding his character- he's almost endearing to me now, nevermind his trying to kill a kitten- and his own half-sister, no less.

Don't forget how he ended up depriving a sick elder the prey that may have let her live for another season or two...but it will be nice to see Darkstripe have a little more substance.
Will there be hints of Tiger x Dark? I personally never saw it...but apparently a lot of people had.

Oh, he's no good guy by any stretch of the imagination, but Erin-canon!Darkstripe is just seeping evil from the pores for... really no reason. Tigerclaw was his mentor... I guess? Which is the same, lame and weak excuse that made Tigerclaw evil... because Thistleclaw liked to fight = take over the forest and kill all the half-bloods. Evil is inherited by apprenticeship, most certainly... except if you're Lionblaze... or Fireheart... or Longtail.
Er, nope, none of that. I could kind of see it, but we aren't going down that route.

I love this! It's awesome! Also, is Longtail a brown tabby? I'm wondering because the Erins changed his desgin to a silver tabby and it's annoying. I mean, just stick with the brown tabby desgin please.

Thank you! ^^ And yes, Longtail is a black tabby. I just gave him a quite pale undercoat, to try to keep him more to his own self, rather than looking like Brambleclaw or Dustpelt. I just couldn't myself imagine him silver... uwu;
