Description
EDIT EDIT EDIT!Sorry for the re-upload! After re-reading my instructions, I noticed that I made some mistakes in the fourth step - the unsewn edge should be the outside edge, not the inside. I've made the appropriate changes.
-------
Some people have been asking for the pattern I use when making my kitty hats, so I thought I'd upload this. I know, trade secrets, blah blah blah... but this pattern is so simple that it'd be a breeze to figure out anyway, so I see no point in keeping it a secret. You'll have to work out the exact dimensions yourself though, so I suggest trying to make a cap in a scrap fabric to make sure it fits correctly before using any good fabric.
A little note about the dimensions: I meant to make everything at least roughly proportional, but I just realize the brim looks about as half as long as it should be. The pattern piece I use is that shape because I double over the fabric on one side when I'm cutting it... sorry for any confusion.
Please comment here or send me a note if you use this pattern or found it useful in any way. If you have any pictures of finished hats, I'd love to see them!

So you can sew the ears together and have them stand on their own. As for the head size, slightly smaller than 23 to 24 inches.

Hm. I think I am going to attempt to use part of this to make a heartless hat for someone for Christmas xD The ears for that, however, are going to be tricky. >.< I need to fix my sewing machine.
