Just a quick tutorial on profile anatomy that I put together for someone. :3 Behold the blinding colors.Sorry if it's in the wrong category - I tried to put it in the digital art category but it didn't have a human anatomy section. D:
Oh, and in case you couldn't tell by the photography info over on the right, this was photoreferenced. ~_~; I'd rather use a crutch like a photo and make a really good tutorial than try to freehand it and screw something up.

This is a great help for me. I always used to draw portraits from a frontview only because I didn't really succeed in this view and wasn't able to find out the anotomy for this view. so thanks a lot! (:

I ten to forget the under skeleton lines sometimes. I don't do profile that often this is handy to have as a reminder.

XD Nice. I just draw a circle, finish the rest of the face going down and then enlarge the back. It's a real roundabout way to do it.

LOL, neither did I until I made this tutorial! Circle-based heads weren't working very well for some reason, but it makes a lot of sense if you look at the profile of an actual skull.

That's true. Most of the skulls I've looked at had a oval shaped cranium. It's more obvious if you remove the muscle.
