makeitstoopid.com/OMG the new Bayturtles design is out and is totally touching my inner child in all the wrong ways and i propose that we make a petition to put Michael Bay on a rocket headed to the sun....that's what i would be saying if had any fucks left to give.
to be honest. the design doesn't bother, but I understand why its freaking out so many people. the nose seems weird because its getting more close to the human side than the turtle. it kind of reminds me in the old cartoons of when the turtles put on human mask to blend in. they also look like Shrek. Also this is the first time I seen that the Turtles are huge. like I always recall them being shorter than April. I guess that's where the "Mutant" part of the tittle comes in.
I'll probably go and see it, maybe, but the only thing I hope is that it doesn't get to Mudflap and Skids, from Transformers 2, levels of offensive.

Michael Bay won't be directing it;just producing it through his company Platinum Dunes. Still I have no doubt in my mind it will suck. I am not even a fan of TMNT anymore,but I know an upcoming turkey of a movie when I see one.
I am surprised though at Megan Fox was cast as April. The redesigns of the turtles are simply hideous.
Crap like this are why I stick to animated movies.

Donatelo looks like a donkey
Michey looks like an earless Shrek
The only redesign i actually like is Shredder. High tech armor... Multiple swords... Detachable and usable through telekinesis... c'mon, you know that's atleast pretty badass for Shredder.

Bay i understand but Spielberg was not always bad. He did bring us JAWS and Jurassic Park. Hell, his War of the Worlds gave me a paranoid state since i saw that movie when i was still like, 9 years old when that movie came out.

That maybe but he has collaborated with that gutless, self-destructive swine who pushes out so much garbage that frankly I am surprized no one has actually done the world a kindness and put him out of business or at the least break his spirit.
Steven Spielberg is good, as long as he stays to his own movies and his own made franchises in a sense, not ones that people have loved for Generations.

It's not the turtle's design that bother me, it's April. Why couldn't they cast another actress for the part? You know, like this gifted actress named Not-Megan Fox?
