Another semi-portrait with a diary-like text attached to it with my thought and feelings about gender and swimming:

"Every Thursday I go to the swimming pool with the kids I take care of. Because of the rules, I can't wear my bathing shorts with the jungle pattern and my short hair loose and sports bra like top. Instead I'm forced to wear a bathing cap and a swimming suit I borrowed in order not to get kicked out. While I prefer to wear men's clothes, I've come to love going to the swimming pool because I finally get to look like a woman and fit in with everybody else. For a small period of time, I don't have to worry about what other people think when they see me. I don't have to think about them judging me based on my gender expression and how I look. Even if I dress as a guy, my body isn't that of a man, so I fear that people will look at me as strange or wrong or less of a woman. I don't care about being less of a woman, but I care about being less of a person and I care way too much about what other people think. So I like when I swim, because I feel just a tiny bit more free to be me."
